Introducing our very special team! We are a group of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing service to our clients and customers. With years of experience and a passion for what we do, we are committed to delivering top-notch results that exceed expectations.

Board Members

We have a Board of Directors whose roles are to be the overall governing body of Stable Life. Their responsibilities include overseeing the organisation’s legal compliance (charity and company law), its strategic direction, its policies, finances, property and service delivery.

Mags Powell

Mags Powell

CEO

Mags is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation and has been part of the charity for over 17 years gaining a lot of knowledge of issues affecting young people. She has built up a wealth of experience in all aspects of Business Development and leading the organisation and provides support to the Project Team.

Equine Manager

Carra joined us in May 2022 and is responsible for overseeing our Yard. She comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience having managed different Riding Schools over a number of years . She is a BHS Coach.

Instructor

Alison is a very experienced and knowledgable Riding Instructor who joined us in 2020. She has a number of years experience of teaching at other riding stables and Pony Clubs in the Scottish Borders.

Senior Yard Assistant

Emma is our Senior Yard Assistant who joined us in 2023. She has experience working on another Yard and has a Coaching Certificate.
Kat Walsh

Lead Project Worker

Kat is one of our Lead Project Workers and has been with us since 2020. Since then she has become very experienced in supporting our young people through Equine Facilitated Wellness. She comes with a background of supporting young people as well as adults with vulnerabilities.
Megan Skeldon

Project Worker

Megan joined us in 2023 as a Project Worker and has be developing her skills in Equine Facilitated Wellness. Megan has a background in Education having being a Primary School Teacher prior to joining us.

Instructor

Chloe joined us in 2019 and has become a very competent Riding Instructor. Before that Chloe was volunteering with us for a few years and has built a good knowledge and experience around our ponies.

Yard Assistant

Chloe joined us in 2019. Before that Chloe was volunteering with us for a few years and has built a good knowledge and experience around our ponies and tends to them with lots of care and love.
Mary Anderson

Lead Project Worker

Mary is one of our Lead Project Workers and joined us in 2020. Since then she has become very experienced in supporting our young people through Equine Facilitated Wellness. Prior to joining us Mary has experience of building confidence and leadership in young people across Scottish high schools.

Volunteer Co-Ordinator/Admin

Emma joined us in 2023 as our Volunteer Co-Ordinator/Administrator. Emma is responsible for reruiting, training and supervising all our wonderful volunteers at Stable Life.
Jenna Pringle

Jenna Pringle

Instructor

Jenna is one of our Riding Instructors who has been with us since 2016 when she joined as a Yard Assistant. Over the years she has become very experienced at teaching all ages and stages of riders.
Niamh Paton

Niamh Paton

Yard Assistant

Niamh joined the Yard Team in 2023 and prior to this was at The Royal (Dick) Vet School of Veterinary Studies. She has also been around ponies from an early age and regulary helped out at a Livery Yard.
